During our stay we have performances of Macbeth (in the French version) at the Teatro Regio in Parma, Un ballo in maschera and the bijou Teatro Giuseppe Verdi di Busseto, a concert performance of Attila at the Teatro Girolamo Magnani di Fidenza and a Gala Charity Concert 'Fuoco Di Gioia' at Teatro Regio. There will also be the option to add a performance of the rarely performed La battaglia di Legnano in Parma.
We will spend our days getting to know the historic city of Parma, visiting Luciano Pavarotti's home and museum in Modena, the wonderful city of Mantova (home to Rigoetto and the Gonzagas) and Cremona, home to Stradavari and an excellent museum.
Full details will be available in mid January and we expect to be able to offer direct flights from Manchester or Heathrow to Bologna.
